Answered: CELLULAR RESPONSE

Which of the following would not necessarily stimulate a cellular response?

A large concentration of hormones outside of the cell

The cellular stimulated response is usually affected by the concentration of hormones inside the cell. The hormones outside the cell does not necessarily produce the response.  the target cell’s detection of a signaling molecule coming from outside the cell, a chemical signal is “detected” when the signaling molecule binds to a receptor protein located at the cell’s surface. The movement is changed to a form that can bring about a specific cellular response and not stimulate a cellular response. The binding of the signaling molecule changes the receptor ions in some way.
